Awana is a program that strives to reach children with the gospel of Jesus Christ. It has something for all ages Pre-K through 6th Grade and takes place on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:00 PM.
At Calvary Baptist Church, our Awana Ministry strives to help children understand who Jesus is, what Jesus did for us, and how we can serve Jesus. Through activities and Bible verse memory, children will earn “Awana Bucks” to spend at the Awana Store!

Focus: Teaching Children the truth of God’s Word and training them to follow Him and practice His grace.
At Calvary, when our pastor gets up to preach all Children (k-2nd grade) are invited to attend a Children's lesson. Our goal in children’s church is to teach children about God’s love in a format that can more effectively communicate His message. Kids will learn verses, sing songs, and have an object lesson.
